Biography
xChih-Yu Wang earned his Ph.D. from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University and completed his postdoctoral research at National Taiwan University. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at I-Shou University, Taiwan. His expertise lies in biophotonics, with a particular emphasis on fluorescence spectroscopy, polarized imaging, and photodynamic therapy. In recent years, his research has expanded to the design and development of advanced medical instruments for integrating diagnostic and therapeutic modalities within traditional Chinese medicine. His current research interests encompass the development of intelligent laser acupuncture devices and the application of generative AI in medicine, aiming to enhance diagnostic accuracy, treatment efficacy, and personalized healthcare. Professor Wang has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals in these fields.
