Abstract

Respiratory disorders such as bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) continue to impose a significant global health burden, with many patients seeking safe and effective complementary therapeutic options alongside conventional care. Ayurveda offers a holistic understanding of respiratory diseases however, rapid symptomatic relief through evidence based Ayurvedic interventions remains relatively underexplored.
AyuBreth is a novel Ayurvedic bronchodilator formulated as an oral mouth spray, designed to provide rapid respiratory support while remaining consistent with Ayurvedic therapeutic principles. This presentation will describe the concept, development, clinical application, and research evidence supporting AyuBreth in the management of respiratory conditions.
Clinical evaluation included pulmonary function testing (PFT) conducted before and after administration of AyuBreth in patients with respiratory disorders. Statistically significant improvements were observed in key pulmonary parameters, including Forced Expiratory Volume in one second Forced Vital Capacity (FVC), and Peak Expiratory Flow Rate (PEFR), demonstrating measurable bronchodilatory effects within minutes of administration. The findings indicate that evidence based Ayurvedic formulations can provide rapid symptomatic improvement while complementing comprehensive respiratory care.
The presentation will also discuss the formulation rationale, mechanism from an Ayurvedic perspective, practical clinical applications, patient selection, safety considerations, and the potential role of such innovations within integrative healthcare systems.
