Ayurveda - 3000-year-old ancient wisdom, which today represents personalized and preventive health care, deeply rooted in the balance of body, mind, and consciousness. At present, Ayurveda is receiving great global attention as a system of medicine that is scientifically justified, environmentally friendly, and holistically capable of dealing with modern health problems such as chronic inflammatory diseases, mental health issues, and metabolic disorders. At the Traditional Medicine and Ethnomedicine World Conference TMEWC 2026, the idyllic Ayurveda session will be a launch pad for recent novelties, policy discussions, cross-cultural healthcare models, and research collaborations. Experts, clinicians, researchers, and practitioners will examine how Ayurveda is being reinterpreted for the 21st century through global regulatory frameworks, interdisciplinary research, and clinical integration into mainstream medicine.
Moreover, the use of Ayurvedic principles in combination with other treatment methods, including yoga, nutrition, and lifestyle medicine, will be examined. The problem of standardization and quality control of Ayurvedic products will be examined. The issue of global recognition of Ayurvedic medicines will be explored in light of the Ayurvedic Pharmacopeia. Ethical considerations, intellectual property rights, and sustainable management of traditional knowledge systems will be among the core topics at the workshop. Besides, the sustainable collection of herbal medicines and the environmental effects of manufacturing Ayurvedic products will be discussed.
